September 11th Rememberance Events

Everyone remembers where they were and what they were doing on that fateful day, September 11, 2001. A great tragedy occurred that day in our country, and even though you may not have been personally affected, you can still pay your respects. Frankfort, Homer Glen, Lockport, New Lenox, Orland Park and Tinley Park are all hosting 9/11 remembrance events.

World War II Day

If you couldn’t get enough of the days gone by at the Homer Harvest Days this weekend, we’ve got good news for you! Here’s the scoop on another event that just might tickle your fancy – the Lockport Township Park District is hosting World War II Days this weekend. Scope out the uniform and equipment demonstrations, vehicles, weapons, campsite displays and more. Visitors will even get to watch realistic battle reenactments. Click here for more information.

Homer Harvest Days! 9/10 and 9/11

What: Get ready to have some fun this weekend, though we’re not talking about just any kind of fun. We’re talking about having some good old-fashioned fun down on the farm at Homer Harvest Days!
