Laura and her family travel across America in search of a place they can call home. Facing obstacles such as scarlet fever and eviction from their land, their pioneering spirit and family bonds are tested but never broken. This uplifting story of one of America’s most beloved authors comes to life in ArtsPower’s popular musical. *Appropriate for grades 2 – 6.

Skippyjon Jones is a little kitten with big ears and even bigger dreams! Sometimes he pretends to be a bird, sometimes he pretends to be a llama, and sometimes he pretends to be a whale… anything BUT a Siamese cat!

Skippyjon Jones  is an enchanting musical about unleashing your powerful imagination and following your dreams. *Appropriate for grades K – 3.

Madeline and the Bad Hat , an original musical based upon the much-loved book, captures the blithe yet touching spirit of Ludwig Bemelmans’s Madeline  series. It

traces the adventures of a young Parisian girl who – despite starting off on the wrong foot with a mischievous new neighbor – eventually learns that first impressions aren’t everything.

*Appropriate for grades K – 2.

Tickets are $6 and may be purchased by phone with a credit card by contacting Charles Stark at 815-462-2307 or All ages are welcome! The grade levels are merely suggestions by the production companies in regards to

comprehension and attention level. *Attention educators! Please inquire about weekday school trip performances.

Seating is general admission. The productions are presented by two of America’s preeminent producers of professional Equity theatre for young

and family audiences, TheatreworksUSA and ArtsPower National Touring Theatre. Performances are approximately one hour in length.

The program is designed to provide maximum technical training to teach the player the necessary skills to develop. More ball touches for individual players, small sided matches to build skills.

The program is lead by Lincoln-Way Soccer Club (LWSC) Coach Kevin Theiss and assisted by other LWSC licensed coaches and current club players.
