Haunted Hollow at Toyota Park in Bridgeview

Haunted Hollow returns to Bridgeview’s Toyota Park with a new fright fest called Carn-Evil Midway.

Sweet Dreams Haunted House 11901 S. Cicero Ave. Alsip, inside the Funtime Square

In its seventh year of operation, Sweet Dreams Haunted House is located inside Funtime Square in Alsip, which has the largest haunted cemetery count, according to Haunted Places of Illinois.

3rd Annual Nightmare at the Terrace Haunted House 11500 Beloit Ave., Worth

The Worth Park District will once again be turning the Terrace Centre into a place full of scares, thrills and chills for the 3rd annual “Nightmare at the Terrace” Haunted House. If you dare, take your chances and walk through a 700-foot path and 15-room maze.

Walk for Children’s Memorial Hospital

With the weather finally cooling down and gorgeous fall colors everywhere you look, now is the perfect time to relax and take a walk outdoors. So why not walk for a cause! Halloween Decorations – All Around Mokena

Well, it’s time to get into the Halloween spirit and make your house look as spooky as it can get for Mokena Community Park District‘s annual House of Frights Halloween House Decorating Contest! Pumpkin Carving!

Kids aren’t the only ones who can get in the Halloween spirit by carving pumpkins. Adults can do it too! Maybe you’ve got a bit of an artistic touch. Or, perhaps you simply love all-things Halloween. Either way, it’s time to pick out that perfect pumpkin, carve it and decorate it in whatever way you wish and then submit a photo for 22nd Century Media’s pumpkin carving contest! The Frankfort Station, The Homer Horizon, The Lockport Legend, The Mokena Messenger, The New Lenox Patriot, The Orland Park Prairie and The Tinley Junction are all accepting admissions, and winners will receive a prize. So carve away!
